Lucas Parada is a 22-year-old professional dancer / teacher / choreographer based out of Los Angeles. He began his training at the age of 10 in contemporary / hip hop / jazz / ballet in his home on Cape Cod, MA. At the age of 14 he began traveling to study from master teachers at Broadway Dance Center in NYC and at nationally touring


At the age of 18 he moved to Tucson AZ and began intensive study at the University of Arizona, honing his technique in ballet, modern, and jazz and it was there he discovered an immense love for choreography. After studying with the faculty at UofA for 3 semesters he was formally offered a position on Jaci’s Royals prestigious LA based company Royal Flux Dance and he made the move from student to professional.

As a professional Lucas has worked with nearly every major contemporary choreographer in the industry. His credits include Katy Perry, Helene Fischer, Royal Flux Dance Co. Derek Hough, Emo Nite Festival, Brian Friedman’s; Every Single Step, a China Tour of Daniel Ezralow’s: PEARL, Blake McGrath, and many more! He has worked with legends/sought after artists such as Megan Lawson, Matt Cady, Brian Friedman, Lindsey & Craig, Ryan Heffington, Kirsten Russel, Tessandra Chavez, Andrew Winghart, Kyle Hanagami, Yusuf Nasir and has most recently begun training with Tessandra Chavez’s company: UNITY LA. He also works closely with Erica Klein and can be seen in

her dance film: “Figures” on Tim Milgrim’s YouTube channel.

Lucas is also an RYT-200 and an experienced power yoga teacher. His journey with yoga has further strengthened his understanding of the human anatomy and he has developed a style of movement that is closely linked to breathe and postural asana from vinyasa practices.

Through teaching both yoga and dance Lucas developed a deep passion for connecting with and educating students of all ages. He looks forward to continuing to share his immense love and knowledge for the art and business of dance with the world as he continues to train and expand his own understanding of the art, as it is his belief that “the true teacher never stops being a student.”
